The Centre has a capacity-building and operational support mandate to foster cooperation and encourage increased communication with and between regional law enforcement personnel. Expertise and knowledge sharing will be based on:


• professional law enforcement education for operational managers;
• exchange of information and intelligence;
• international law enforcement education standards;
• supremacy of the law; and
• where practicable, education and training should attract undergraduate and postgraduate learning credits for further law enforcement or related studies
