GoalThe long-term development goal of the Centre is to contribute to the enhancement of regional law enforcement capacity inmanaging multi-jurisdictional investigations aimed at disrupting transnational crime and terrorism in the Asia Pacific region. This will be achieved by:
strengthening law enforcement response capacity, to deter and deal with terrorism and other transnational crimes; strengthening established and developing investigative management capability; contributing to the development of wider criminal intelligence skills and a capacity to share and exchange criminal intelligence, and manage the process; enhancing forensic capability and its management; strengthening existing and developing new domestic and international law enforcement partnerships and networks; harnessing science and technology; and influencing the legislative and policy environment.
