The newly appointed Australian Ambassador for Counter Terrorism Mr Michael Smith visited the AKPOL Police Academy and JCLEC on Wednesday 9 August 2006. Ambassador Smith and party were greeted by Brigadier General Adjie Ramdja and provided with a tour of the AKPOL training facilities as well as those of JCLEC.  During the visit the Ambassador took time to speak with Indonesian participants and reinforced his commitment for the bilateral relationship between Australia and Indonesia in the fight against terrorism.
